ChatGPT can be incorporated into the classroom in many ways such as developing review questions, tutoring assistance etc.

I am very surprised at the recommendation to use ChatGPT in the classroom! I see many of the benefits, such as the tutoring, or the assistance with lesson planning, but I plan to use plagiarism detection programs to assure that the students are putting in the work with integrity.

It will be very important to teach students the downfalls of using ChatGPT such as the fact that it cannot follow real-time events and that information ChatGPT provides may be outdated for rapidly changing topics.

AI is an incredible new up and coming tool. It is important to understand it’s capabilities to determine how it may impact the classroom, cheating etc.

I’ve come to see that learning technologies, when used thoughtfully, can make education more flexible, personal, and meaningful—not just by delivering content, but by helping students engage deeply, reflect on what they’re learning, and connect in ways that go beyond the classroom.

What really stuck with me is that learning feels more real and meaningful when students get to work together, ask their own questions, and learn by doing—not just by listening to lectures.

I learned that when students are supported through honest reflection and teamwork, they don’t just learn facts—they grow, shift their perspectives, and build the confidence to apply what they’ve learned in real life.

When students get to learn in ways that match how they think and engage—like hands-on activities, real-world projects, and working with others—they feel more connected, motivated, and successful in their learning journey.

In this module I learned about digital natives (younger students) and digital immigrants (older students) and how younger and older students have different agendas and goals when learning. Adults as students want to know the value of the course and how the content will expand and grow their career. I intend to be mindful about the audience I teach and alter my lessons and curriculum to address learning needs.  I will also continue to be mindful about adding a variety of ways to learn in different ways to address all learning styles.

This website provides free templates, pictures, and tools to help create graphic animations and electronic materials such as eBooks, flip books, and more. It is a really helpful application, readily used, and free.
